1.Who We Are

OrlandoPreneur is Orlando’s startup and entrepreneurial business community, operated by OrlandoPreneur, LLC (“OrlandoPreneur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Florida limited liability company located at 899 N Orange Avenue, Suite 603, Orlando, FL 32801.

We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

2.What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through:

• Our website at www.preneursuccess.com, including any successor or related OrlandoPreneur websites we operate (together, the “Site”);
• The OrlandoPreneur App, our mobile application (the “App”);
• Memberships, the member directory, newsletters, and email or text communications; and
• Events we host or produce, including registration, check-in, and attendance (together with the Site and the App, the “Services”).

It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we link to but do not control. By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service.

3.Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

• Account and membership information — your name, email address, phone number, password, company or organization, job title, and membership plan details when you create an account, join as a member, or sign up for our newsletter.
• Profile and directory information — information you choose to add to your member profile, such as a photo, bio, business description, industry, website, and social links.
• Event information — registrations, RSVPs, ticket purchases, guest names, check-in records, and any preferences you share with us for an event.
• Payment information — when you purchase a membership, ticket, or sponsorship, our third-party payment processors collect your payment card details. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems (see Payments).
• Communications — messages you send us through contact forms, email, text, social media, or in the App, and your communication preferences.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, features used, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits.
• Device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device type and identifiers, and general location inferred from your IP address (city/region level).
• Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies & Analytics below.

4.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and manage the Services, including your account, membership, and event registrations;
• Process payments, renewals, and refunds through our payment processors;
• Operate the member directory and community features you choose to participate in;
• Send you service communications, such as receipts, renewal notices, event confirmations, and updates about your account;
• Send you newsletters, event announcements, and promotional messages you can opt out of at any time;
• Improve the Site, the App, our events, and our programming, including through analytics;
• Protect the security and integrity of the Services and our community; and
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5.Member Directory & Profile Visibility

One of the benefits of OrlandoPreneur membership is connection. If you are a member, the profile information you choose to add — such as your name, photo, company, bio, and links — may be visible to other members through the member directory on the Site and in the App.

You control what appears in your profile. If you would like your profile hidden from the directory, you can update your settings where available or contact us at support@preneursuccess.com and we will take care of it.

The directory is provided for personal networking within the community. Members are not permitted to scrape, export, or use directory information for mass marketing (see our Terms of Service).

6.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — companies that help us run the Services, such as website and app hosting, payment processing, email and text messaging platforms, event management tools, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Within the community — profile information you choose to share appears in the member directory as described above.
• Sponsors and partners — we may share aggregate, non-identifying information (for example, total attendance numbers) with event sponsors. We do not give sponsors your personal contact information unless you knowingly provide it to them — for example, by dropping a business card at their table, scanning their code, or opting in at registration.
• Legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of OrlandoPreneur, our members, or others.
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

7.Payments

Membership dues, event tickets, and sponsorships are processed by third-party payment processors. Your payment card details are collected and handled directly by those processors under their own privacy policies and security standards. We receive confirmation of your payment, the product purchased, and limited billing details (such as name, email, and the last four digits of your card) — never your full card number.

8.Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used so we can improve them. Analytics tools may collect information such as pages visited, time on page, and general location.

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly (for example, staying logged in).

9.Email, Text & Push Communications

• Email — you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message. We may still send you non-promotional service emails, such as receipts and renewal notices.
• Text messages — if you opt in to text updates, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
• Push notifications — the App may send push notifications about events and community updates. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.

10.The OrlandoPreneur App

The OrlandoPreneur App gives members access to community features, events, and content. In addition to the information described above, the App may collect:

• Device identifiers and push notification tokens so we can deliver notifications you have enabled;
• App usage data, such as features used and content viewed, to improve the App; and
• Content you provide in the App, such as your profile and any posts, messages, or media you choose to share, when those features are available. If you grant the App permission to access your camera or photos (for example, to upload a profile picture), it is used only for that feature.

You can delete your account and associated personal information at any time by using the account deletion option in the App where available, or by emailing support@preneursuccess.com with the subject line “Delete My Account.” See Your Choices & Rights.

11.Event Photography & Recordings

OrlandoPreneur events are frequently photographed and recorded. By attending an event, you acknowledge that photos and video taken at the event may include you and may be used in our marketing — on the Site, in the App, in newsletters, and on social media — as described in our Terms of Service.

If you would prefer not to appear in event media, let a team member know at the event or contact us at support@preneursuccess.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you, including removing identified photos on request.

12.Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

13.Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we limit access to those who need it to operate the Services. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for your account and let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

14.Your Choices & Rights

You can:

• Access and update your account and profile information at any time through your account settings;
• Opt out of marketing emails, texts, and push notifications as described above;
• Hide your profile from the member directory; and
• Request deletion of your account and personal information by using the in-App deletion option or emailing support@preneursuccess.com. We will honor verified requests, subject to information we are required to keep (for example, payment records).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws — such as the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@preneursuccess.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

15.Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@preneursuccess.com and we will delete it.

16.Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may link to third-party websites and services — for example, event pages, sponsor websites, payment processors, and social media platforms. Those third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site or service you visit.

17.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a notice on the Site or in the App. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
