OrlandoPreneur
Terms of Service
The ground rules for our website, app, memberships, and events.
Last updated: August 10, 20261.Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and OrlandoPreneur, LLC (“OrlandoPreneur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Florida limited liability company located at 899 N Orange Avenue, Suite 603, Orlando, FL 32801.
They govern your use of our website at www.preneursuccess.com and any successor or related OrlandoPreneur websites we operate (the “Site”), the OrlandoPreneur App (the “App”), our memberships, member directory, newsletters, content, and the events we host or produce (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, creating an account, purchasing a membership, or attending an event, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2.Eligibility
The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a membership, or use the App. By using the Services, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract.
3.Your Account
- Provide accurate, current information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@preneursuccess.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
4.Memberships, Billing & Renewal
OrlandoPreneur offers paid membership plans — currently billed monthly or annually — at the rates displayed at signup. Membership benefits (such as free or discounted event access, the event calendar, the member directory, and members-only invitations) are as described on the Site at the time of purchase and may be updated from time to time.
- Price changes — we may change membership pricing with advance notice. New rates apply at your next renewal, giving you the chance to cancel first.
- Failed payments — if a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend membership benefits until payment is completed.
- Taxes — prices may be subject to applicable taxes, which will be added where required.
5.Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancel anytime — you can cancel your membership through your account settings or by emailing support@preneursuccess.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep your benefits until then.
- No partial refunds — except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, membership fees are non-refundable, and we do not prorate unused portions of a billing period.
- Event tickets — ticket purchases for individual events are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by us and not rescheduled, or the event listing states otherwise.
6.Events
- Registration — events may require registration and, for non-members or certain events, a ticket fee. Registrations are for your use and any named guests only.
- Changes — speakers, venues, dates, and programming may change. If we cancel an event, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants and, for paid tickets, offer a refund or credit.
- Admission — we may refuse admission to, or remove from, any event a person who violates these Terms, disrupts the event, or endangers others, without refund.
- Venues — events may be held at third-party venues with their own rules (including age restrictions where alcohol is served). You agree to follow venue policies.
- Assumption of risk — you attend events voluntarily and are responsible for your own belongings and conduct.
7.Event Photography & Media Release
Our events are frequently photographed, filmed, and recorded. By attending an OrlandoPreneur event, you grant OrlandoPreneur, LLC a perpetual, royalty-free license to use photos, video, and audio captured at the event — which may include your name, image, likeness, and voice — in our marketing and community materials, including on the Site, in the App, in newsletters, and on social media, without compensation.
If you prefer not to appear in event media, tell a team member at the event or email support@preneursuccess.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you, including removing identified photos on request. See also our Privacy Policy.
8.Community Conduct
OrlandoPreneur exists to help entrepreneurs connect, learn, and grow. To keep the community valuable for everyone, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against any member, guest, speaker, or team member;
- Spam the community — including unsolicited bulk messages, aggressive cold pitching, or pyramid/multi-level recruiting;
- Misrepresent yourself, your business, or your affiliation with OrlandoPreneur;
- Record private conversations or share other members’ contact information without their consent;
- Use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Site or the App, or attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization; or
- Copy, scrape, or harvest content or member data from the Services except as these Terms allow.
We may remove content, suspend benefits, or terminate membership for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the community (see Termination).
9.Member Directory Use
The member directory is a membership benefit provided for individual, personal networking within the OrlandoPreneur community. You may not export, scrape, or compile directory information; use it to build marketing or prospecting lists; or send bulk or automated messages to members. Doing so is grounds for immediate termination of membership without refund.
10.Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you submit to the Services — such as your profile, posts, comments, photos, and other materials (“Your Content”). By submitting it, you grant OrlandoPreneur a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and share Your Content as needed to operate and promote the Services (for example, showing your profile in the member directory).
You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to share it and that it does not violate any law or anyone else’s rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
11.Our Intellectual Property
The Services — including the OrlandoPreneur™ name and marks, logos, the Site, the App, and our content, programming, and materials — are owned by OrlandoPreneur, LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content, or use our marks, without our prior written permission.
12.The OrlandoPreneur App
- License — we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal use of the Services.
- Updates — the App may update automatically, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
- App stores — your use of the App must also comply with the terms of the app store it was downloaded from (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms, have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App, and are not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section with the right to enforce it.
- Account deletion — you can delete your account in the App where available or by emailing support@preneursuccess.com.
13.Third-Party Links & Services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, tools, and services — including payment processors, event platforms, venues, and sponsor sites. We do not control third parties and are not responsible for their content, products, services, or policies. Your dealings with any third party — including sponsors and other members — are solely between you and them.
14.No Professional Advice
OrlandoPreneur programming — including talks, panels, workshops, newsletters, and conversations with other members — is provided for general educational and networking purposes only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or invest in anything. Speakers’ and members’ views are their own. Always do your own diligence and consult qualified professionals before making business, legal, or financial decisions.
15.Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, OrlandoPreneur disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; that any event, introduction, or membership benefit will produce any particular business outcome; or that content will be accurate or complete.
16.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OrlandoPreneur, LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data — arising out of or related to the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
17.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OrlandoPreneur, LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, and volunteers from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Services, your conduct at events, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
18.Termination
You may stop using the Services and cancel your membership at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, membership, or access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms, harm the community, or misuse the Services — with no refund of fees already paid, except where required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including licenses to event media, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive.
19.Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@preneursuccess.com and give us 30 days to work toward an informal resolution.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts. To the extent permitted by law, each party waives the right to a jury trial and agrees that claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as part of a class action.
20.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a notice on the Site or in the App. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
21.General Terms
- Entire agreement — these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and OrlandoPreneur regarding the Services.
- Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
- No waiver — our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, venue closures, utility or internet outages, and government actions.
